Aligning ball bearing is a ball bearing equipped with spherical ball between the inner ring of two raceways and the outer ring of a spherical raceway. The curvature center of the outer ring raceway surface is consistent with the bearing center, so it has the same centering function as the automatic aligning ball bearing.

The material of the cage is steel plate, synthetic resin, etc. It is characterized by the spherical shape of the outer ring raceway, with automatic centering, can compensate for the error caused by different concentricity and shaft deflection, but the relative inclination of the inner and outer ring shall not exceed 3 degrees. It can bear large radial load and certain axial load at the same time. The raceway of the outer ring of this kind of bearing is spherical, so it has the performance of aligning. When the shaft is bent or inclined by force, the relative tilt between the center line of the inner ring and the center line of the outer ring is not more than 1°~2.5°, the bearing can still work.

The taper of the conical inner hole is 1:1 2 or 1:30. In order to strengthen the lubrication performance of the bearing, the ring oil groove and three oil holes are processed on the outer ring of the bearing, which has the characteristics of cylindrical hole self-aligning ball bearing, but the inner hole is tapered hole, and the clearance of the bearing can be fine-tuned when installed on the conical shaft. This kind of bearing is mainly used in the double supporting shaft with large bending under the action of load, and in the parts where the two supporting seat holes cannot be guaranteed to be strictly concentric. Mainly used to bear radial load, can also bear a small amount of axial load, generally can not bear pure axial load. The universality of this kind of bearing is second only to deep groove ball bearing. Its limit speed is lower than that of deep groove ball bearing of the same specification, but its bearing capacity is higher than that of deep groove ball bearing.

The self-aligning ball bearing with dustproof cover and sealing ring has been filled with a proper amount of grease during assembly. It should not be heated or cleaned before installation. It does not need to be lubricated during use, and it can adapt to the operating temperature between -30 ℃ and + 120 ℃.
