(1) Press in with a press
The press in method of press is widely used for small bearings. Put the cushion block into the inner ring, quietly press into the inner ring with a press, and close to the shaft shoulder. The installation of the outer ring cushion block on the inner ring is the reason for the indentation and bruise of the raceway, so it is absolutely prohibited.
When using, it is best to apply oil on the mating surface in advance. When hammering and installing, cushion blocks should be placed on the inner ring for operation. This practice has been the reason for bearing operation for many times. Therefore, it is limited to the use of small interference, and cannot be used for large interference, medium and large bearings.
For non separable bearings, such as deep groove ball bearings, when the inner and outer rings need to be installed with interference, cushion them with spacer blocks, and press the inner and outer rings together with screws or oil pressure. The outer ring of self-aligning ball bearing is easy to tilt. Even if there is no interference fit, it is best to install it with cushion blocks.
Separable bearings, such as cylindrical roller bearings and tapered roller bearings, can be installed with inner rings and outer rings on the shaft and housing respectively. When installing inner rings and outer rings respectively, the key is to stably close them so that the centers of the two do not deviate, and reluctantly pressing them will cause the raceway surface to get stuck.
(2) Hot charging method
Large bearings require a lot of force during pressing, so it is difficult to press in. In this way, the method of heating the bearing in oil, expanding the bearing, and then installing it on the shaft is widely used. With this method, the work can be completed without exerting inappropriate force on the bearing in a short time.
The heating temperature of the bearing is determined according to the bearing size and the required interference. Precautions for hot charging operation are as follows:
1. The bearing is not heated above 120 ℃;
2. In order to prevent the bearing from directly contacting the bottom of the oil groove, it is best to consider placing the bearing on the metal mesh platform or lifting the bearing;
3. Heat the bearing to 20 ℃ -30 ℃ higher than the required temperature to avoid inner ring cooling during operation, resulting in installation difficulties;
4. After installation, the bearing will cool and shrink in the width direction, so fasten it with the shaft cap or other appropriate methods to prevent the gap between the inner ring and the bearing shoulder.
