On November 15, 2022, the Shandong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism announced the announcement of the first batch of rural (community) museums in Shandong Province. The Linqing Bearing Culture Museum located in Yandian Town, Linqing City was successfully selected.
In order to thoroughly implement the "Implementation Opinions on Promoting the Key Work of Comprehensively Promoting Rural Revitalization in 2022" issued by the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government and the "Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Reform and Development of Museums" by nine departments including the Central Propaganda Department and the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, Shandong Provincial Culture In 2022, the Ministry of Tourism and the Department of Tourism carried out the work of accreditation of rural (community) museums in the whole province.
According to work requirements, the Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism actively conducted a thorough investigation of rural museums in the city, and selected 3 rural (community) museums to compile and report materials. After preliminary review in Liaocheng City, comprehensive meeting review and on-site inspection by experts, a total of 100 companies were finally announced, including 5 companies in Liaocheng City and 1 company in Linqing City.
In the next step, the Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism will actively do a good job in the support, cultivation, quality improvement and upgrading of rural (community) museums, guide the selected museums to inherit the excellent traditional Chinese culture, promote socialist values, and help rural revitalization.
