NAF single row deep groove ball bearing has only one row of balls placed in between the inner and outer raceways. A double row deep groove ball bearing, on the other hand, has two rows of balls placed in between the inner and outer raceways.
NAF double row deep groove ball bearing can accommodate higher radial loads and axial loads in both directions compared to the single row deep groove ball bearing. It also has a higher stiffness and thermal capacity.
However, the single row deep groove ball bearing is less expensive and has a smaller axial dimension compared to the double row deep groove ball bearing. It is also suitable for applications where space is limited and where moderate radial loads and minimal axial loads are expected.
